A step-by-step recipe for making strawberry jam: We prepare the necessary products and a vegetable substitute for gelatin agar-agar for the preparation of delicious strawberry jam. To prepare according to our recipe, you need to sort out one kilogram of strawberries, remove the stalks and rinse well under running water. After washing, put the berry on a paper towel to absorb and leave excess moisture. Cut into a medium-sized pieces the third part of the strawberries and put them in a convenient container with a thick bottom, cover with six hundred grams of sugar. Twist the remaining berries and put them into a common container. Turn the stove on to medium temperature, put the container with the berry and stirring to a boil. Before boiling, foam is liberated liberally and to avoid this (the oil prevents foam), add one teaspoon of butter to the berry. Lower the cooking temperature and boil the berry on a small fire, always stirring with a wooden spoon, exactly ten minutes. Turning off the stove, remove the container with the berry and let it cool for fifteen minutes. We’ll make jam using vegetable pectins, we have agar agar. Agar agar is a mixture of polysaccharides of agarose and agaropectin, which in our recipe will need two teaspoons per kilogram of berry. Pour two tablespoons of sugar in a bowl, two teaspoons of agar agar and mix well, add to the container with jam, which before this was brought to a boil on the stove. From the moment of boiling, mix well and cook our jam for exactly ten minutes. We must sterilize the jam storage container in the oven for fifteen minutes at a temperature of one hundred degrees. Pour the jam into containers in a hot condition and close them with suitable lids. We cook deliciously, cook simply, cook delicious strawberry jam at home together!
