A fish

  1. Mackerel 1 piece (without a head, weight about 250 grams)
  2. Water 100 milliliters
  3. Olive oil 1 tablespoon
  4. Salt to taste

  1. Mustard 1 tablespoon
  2. Olive oil 1 tablespoon
  3. Pepper to taste
  4. Lemon juice from 1/2 lemon
  5. Capers 1 tablespoon
  • Main ingredients: Mackerel, Lemon, Mustard
  • Serving 1 serving

Kitchen knife, cutting board, plate, tablespoon.

Step 1: prepare the mackerel.

Rinse the mackerel, gut it and remove the head.

Rinse inside and cut into small pieces.

Step 2: bake the mackerel.

Fill the mackerel in a baking dish, pour water, oil and add salt. Send the fish to bake in a preheated (medium heat) oven on 35 minutes.

Step 3: prepare the sauce.

Mix mustard with lemon juice in a separate bowl. I just squeeze half a lemon.

Add olive oil and mix very carefully.

Salt, pepper and add capers, then mix everything very carefully again.

Step 4: bake mackerel in mustard sauce.

Remove the mackerel from the oven.

Add the cooked sauce and stir well.

Return to oven again 10 minutes.

Step 5: Serve the baked mackerel in mustard sauce.

Serve mackerel in mustard sauce with lemon slices and capers. As I said at the very beginning, it’s delicious both hot and cold. Real jam!
Enjoy your meal!
